Sarah Durkin is currently taking a gap year before attending the University of Leuven in Brussels to study Business. Two of Sarah's passions are traveling and art. She is excited to learn more about the art world during her time at allison sprock fine art and apply that knowledge when discovering art abroad.
Jayla Corley is pictured with “Landscape Vibrations” by Karen Weihs. Jayla is a junior at UNC Charlotte double majoring in psychology and mass media. Outside of the aesthetics of fine art, she enjoys fashion and concerts. Jayla is excited to intern at asfa and expand her knowledge of fine art and art history.
Gabrielle Girard is photographed with a painting by John Beard. She is a junior at Queens University of Charlotte, studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Studio Art. From painting to poetry, she is passionate about the vibrant history and expressive possibilities of verbal and visual art. She is thrilled to join a gallery that showcases the magic of fine art.
Audrey Ladele is pictured with “Black and White World” by Gee Gee Collins and is currently attending Concord High School. Her interests include filmmaking, piano, and art history. After high school, she plans to go to a university for film production or art history. She’s very interested in learning more about fine art and is very excited to be a part of the team at the gallery!
Frances Cauthen is pictured with "Namaste" by Jenny Schultz. Frances is a sophomore at Appalachian State interested in pursuing interior design and business. She enjoys music, being creative, and the outdoors. She is excited and passionate about the art community and hopes to become more engaged and expand her knowledge while interning at allison sprock fine art.
Grayce Anderson is a senior at Clemson University studying Marketing and Spanish. She just got back from studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain and is pictured here with her favorite piece by our dear friend and Spanish native, Martin Frias; this piece is titled ‘Contemporary Three. St Petersburg’ Ballet’. She loves being around the art in asfa as an aspiring artist herself! She hopes being in such a creative atmosphere will help her gain inspiration in her own works.
Mikaila Thompson is pictured with "Nights Edge" by Constantin Chatov. She currently attends North Mecklenburg High School and plans on attending a university for a major that is art related. She enjoys the Chatov family's portraits the most at asfa. She is excited to intern at asfa and become involved with all of the amazing art at the gallery.
Katelyn Arledge is pictured with “Clouds Moving In” by Dede Caughman. Katelyn is a senior at Winthrop University where she is double majoring in Dance and Economics. As a dancer, she is passionate about the arts and is presently researching the relationship between economic development and the presence of the arts. She is excited to learn more about the fine arts sector during her time at allison sprock fine art.
