Avery Close is a recent graduate of Wofford College, where she majored in Art History and minored in history and studio art. She particularly loves studying the way that art impacts different cultures throughout history and how artists are able to express their emotions through their works. She is excited for the opportunity to intern at allison sprock fine art as a way to become acquainted with and develop a deeper appreciation of a diverse selection of artists from around the world
Elise Gilbert is a junior at University of North Carolina at Charlotte pursuing a degree in Fine Arts. She has always enjoyed art, drawing from a young age. In recent years, she's fallen in love with painting. She appreciates Art History and loves how artists challenge viewers to see the world differently. Elise loves working at the gallery and is learning all she can about different artists as well as how to run a gallery, as she hopes to own her own one day.
Julia Wenger is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte pursuing a BA in Communication Studies with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Journalism. From a young age she has always had a passion for the arts. She loves that art is for everyone and that it can be interpreted anyway you want. She loves all types of mediums and styles of art including abstract and watercolor. She is super excited to be working with asfa and gaining more knowledge of the arts.
Grace Satterfield is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte earning a BA in Art History and minoring in Classical Studies. Grace enjoys all different forms of art but is especially fascinated by abstract art! She hopes to one day own her very own art gallery and is extremely excited to be interning at Allison Sprock as it gives her more inspiration and motivation to follow her dreams!
Clair Dunn is a junior at Myers Park. All her life she has loved to be engulfed in art and seeing the way art has impacted the world in such a unique way. She loves being surrounded by unique pieces of artwork in the gallery, and really wanted to further her knowledge upon art.
Donya Hodge is a junior at Ardrey Kell High school who has always loved all mediums of art. She just moved back from Atlanta, where she previously worked at an art warehouse and studied art history in school. She has experienced the different impacts art has in different countries and loves being in an atmosphere surrounded by all the beauty art has to offer, such as asfa.
Ahva Manshoory is a junior at Ardrey Kell High School where she has participated in art classes for as long as she can remember. Her favorite mediums for painting are acrylic and oil. She is extremely passionate about art, and the role it plays in our everyday lives. In the future, Ahva aspires to go into the art field as a career. She loves bringing positive energy to the gallery.
Anica Stipicevic is currently a junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is earning her BFA in Illustration and a minor in Art History. When she graduates next spring, she plans to continue her education by earning a masters in museum studies or museum education. Anica loves to surround her self with art and the people who appreciate it just as much as she does. She is very excited to be interning at Allison sprock fine art!
Becky Gleason is an Art Consultant for allison sprock fine art. As an artist herself, Becky has spent many years painting, teaching, and working in the visual arts. Becky graduated from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and spent her earlier professional career in Corporate Communications for Motorola, Inc. in Chicago. While in Chicago, she was also a Sales Associate for the GeorgeArt Gallery in Lincoln Park. Becky moved to Charlotte in 2003. She looks forward to sharing her genuine enthusiasm for art and the joy it brings to visitors of allison sprock fine art.
Scottie has been volunteering at allison sprock fine art for over a year. He has become a great help and when he is not volunteering at asfa he works on jewelry for his own Jewelry making business. Scottie spends most of his days at UMAR Arts Center where he practices painting landscapes and selling his work. Scottie likes volunteering at the gallery and says “people is friendly people there.”
