Known for her figures with an ephemeral line, her work often draws
on symbols and memory. Originally from Anderson, South Carolina, she has
been a resident of Charleston for five years, living in Cortona, Italy for
part of that time. Her family's encouragement of involvement in the arts
is a result of her great uncle, David E. Finley's success as first
director of The United States National Gallery of Art. Liz continues to
paint in all styles and is available for commissions.
